The new BMW iX3 debuts at Art Dhaka.

The 2026 World Car of the Year makes its first appearance in Bangladesh.

Dhaka, Bangladesh. Executive Motors Limited, the authorized importer and distributor of BMW in Bangladesh, unveiled the new BMW iX3 at Art Dhaka, giving audiences their first look at the car that has captured global attention.

Art Dhaka, which brings together traditional and contemporary creative practices, provides a natural stage for the new BMW iX3, a vehicle that signals a new era for BMW. With its progressive design and groundbreaking technology, the new BMW iX3 blends form and function, reflecting the same spirit of creativity and fresh thinking that defines the event.

“Bringing the 2026 World Car of the Year to Bangladesh is a proud moment for Executive Motors,” said Ashique Un Nabi, Director Operations, Executive Motors Limited. “Art Dhaka celebrates creativity, design and new perspectives. The new BMW iX3 embodies that same spirit, combining progressive design with groundbreaking engineering to define a new era of mobility.”

In April 2026, on stage at the New York International Auto Show, the new BMW iX3 was crowned World Car of the Year 2026. From an initial field of 58 vehicles, a jury of 98 motoring journalists from 33 countries selected the new BMW iX3 as the overall winner, while also naming it World Electric Vehicle 2026.

This recognition reflects what lies at the heart of the new BMW iX3: performance, driving dynamics and technology. As the first BMW Neue Klasse model, it integrates electrification, digitalisation, circularity and an entirely new design language on a dedicated electric architecture.

Inside, that new thinking continues with the BMW Panoramic iDrive, a completely new display and control concept designed around BMW’s “hands on the wheel, eyes on the road” principle. The BMW Panoramic Vision places essential driving information across the lower section of the windscreen, complemented by the BMW 3D Head-Up Display, which positions relevant information directly in the driver’s line of sight. Together, they create a more intuitive, driver-focused digital experience while retaining the physical controls where they matter.

Beyond the cockpit, the new BMW iX3 incorporates advanced assistance and comfort technologies to make every journey more effortless. Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus provide additional support on busy roads and in tight spaces, while the Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system delivers an added dimension to the cabin experience.
