Plate to Impress Your Date

Food should not just be edible but aesthetically pleasing as well.

So, if you are planning on cooking for your date, your food must look magnificent.

Let us help you cook the meal she deserves –

Start with the Right Plate

Decoration starts with choosing the perfect plate.

Two things have to be kept in mind while choosing the plate to serve the food in – shape and color.

We discourage using oversized or undersized plates.

The goal is to make sure that the food looks equally distributed along the entire plate.

What comes next is color-complementing the food you plan on serving. What you have to do is choose the right colored plate for each of the food items.

For example – if you plan on serving salad, a yellow plate is the right choice.

Here’s a list of colors that go well with each other:

Green: combines with golden-brown, orange, salad green, yellow, brown, gray, cream, black, creamy-white.

Brown: combines with bright-cyan, cream, pink, fawn, green, and beige.

Red: combines with yellow, white, fulvous, green, blue, black.

Select the Star of the Plate

Choose an item that you want to make the center of attraction.

Give it enough room to breathe, and make sure to put it out in enough light. The color-complementing is also equally important.

Odd Out

Do not display the items in even numbers. Know this, groupings made in odd numbers always look more magnificent than groupings made in even numbers. So, it is not a matter what you are plating, but how you are plating it. The idea is to group them in odd numbers.

Set the Mood

Setting the mood is essential for a picture-perfect night.

Proper lighting and perfect music are your best friends for date-night.

Spotify has countless dining and eating playlists.

Men tend to eat lesser than usual under blue light. Secondly, make a proper playlist. While music can significantly increase your dining experience, it can also ruin it. You have to know what music goes with what dining setup. For example – sweet food tastes the best when you’re listening to music with a high-frequency and the foods that need savoring requires low-frequency music to be enjoyed to their full extents.
