December 2023 (Dhaka, Bangladesh): Recently, InterContinental Dhaka – the iconic luxury IHG Hotel, unveiled the longest and the most incredible Christmas Yule Log Cake at Café Social. The special Yule Log Cake was 65 feet long, weighed 104 KGs and was prepared by the culinary team of InterContinental Dhaka. It took a team of 8 Chefs to prepare the cake within 2 days for Christmas. This was a key feature of InterContinental Dhaka’s Festive Season Celebrations. The unveiling took place at Café Social where Mr. Ashwani Nayar (General Manager, InterContinental Dhaka), Mr. Olivier Loreaux (Director of Food & Beverage, InterContinental Dhaka), culinary team and high officials of InterContinental Dhaka was present. The record-long cake was ceremoniously cut and distributed amongst the guests for tasting.
At the ceremony, a Church choir sang Christmas carols to keep everyone entertained throughout the event. On Christmas day, InterContinental Dhaka is also hosting a Christmas Kids Wonderland at Winter Garden for the Children and families to come and join the Christmas celebrations. Christmas Kids Wonderland at InterContinental Dhaka will feature Santa Claus, Christmas treats, Rides, Games, Magic Show, Bubble House and many other attractions. The tickets for the Christmas Children’s Party is priced at BDT 2500 Net per person where Children aged 2 years and below and can get complimentary access. On Christmas Day, Elements at InterContinental Dhaka will also host a special buffet brunch and dinner featuring all the delectable Christmas dishes.
