Dhaka, Bangladesh — 19 August 2025
Nature Conservation Management (NACOM), one of Bangladesh’s foremost institutions in climate and biodiversity research, has partnered with The Prestige Magazine, the country’s leading premium lifestyle and policy publication, to launch Nature and Climate—a new magazine dedicated to advancing national and global conversations on environment, sustainability, and resilience.
The collaboration reflects a shared understanding: that climate change is not only an environmental issue, but a defining force shaping economies, livelihoods, public health, and national development. The magazine will bring together evidence-based insights, stories of innovation, and diverse perspectives that bridge science, policy, and practice—delivering knowledge to those in positions of influence while also engaging the wider public.

Dr. Munjurul Hannan Khan, Executive Director of NACOM, said:
“It is with great pride and pleasure that we introduce Nature and Climate, a joint initiative of Nature Conservation Management (NACOM) and The Prestige Magazine. Nature and Climate emerges as a timely and strategic platform to advance informed dialogue on the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, life and livelihoods, and sustainable development.
At NACOM, we recognize that the climate crisis is no longer a distant concern but a present reality that is reshaping ecosystems, livelihoods, and economies. Addressing this urgency requires collective action, knowledge sharing, and credible communication that can bridge science, policy, and practice. Nature and Climate has been conceived to serve precisely this role—providing policymakers, researchers, development practitioners, and private sector leaders with well-curated insights, evidence, and perspectives on resilience and sustainability.
By uniting NACOM’s long-standing expertise in environmental research, climate action, biodiversity conservation, and community-based solutions with The Prestige Magazine’s strengths in media and outreach, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to raising climate awareness, fostering accountability, and amplifying voices that can shape a greener, more equitable future.
We are confident that Nature and Climate will contribute meaningfully to both national and global conversations on climate action. We warmly invite all stakeholders to engage with this platform as partners in the pursuit of lasting and transformative change.”

Mr. Arif Faisal, Editor & CEO of The Prestige Magazine, added:
“The Prestige Magazine recognizes that today’s climate challenges can only be addressed through collective vision—uniting science, governance, business, and communities. Through our partnership with NACOM, we are launching Nature and Climate as a dedicated magazine that bridges these worlds. Our mission is to inform, engage, and influence the conversations that shape climate policy, drive accountability, and advance sustainable growth in Bangladesh and beyond.”

Through this initiative, NACOM and The Prestige Magazine seek to position Nature and Climate as the premier environmental and climate magazine in Bangladesh—a trusted reference for policymakers, corporate leaders, researchers, and development practitioners who are shaping the country’s climate future, while firmly situating Bangladesh within global climate discourse.
