Recently, InterContinental Dhaka, the iconic IHG Hotel, has been recognized as a winner at the prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA) and South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) in 2024. The luxury hotel was recognized as Bangladesh’s Leading Business Hotel at WTA and Bangladesh’s Leading Meeting & Conference Hotel at SATA. This is the third year in a row InterContinental Dhaka has been awarded as a winner at WTA and second year consecutively at SATA.
WTA was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. Today, the WTA brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. The SATA awards recognize not only outstanding service and innovation within the hospitality sector but also foster a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration among industry stakeholders.
