1. Tell us about the working process of your company and how did your journey start?
Work Process: At Bazar Nao, all employees contribute to the quick rise of the company. Under the supervision of the top management there’s brand team, sales team, finance and accounts team, IT team,purchase and quality management team who play important roles in the work processes of Bazar Nao. Quality and safety are first and foremost concern of the company. The delivery process is set up in such a way that the client’s wish can be met quickly. Bazar Nao has its own warehouses and delivery facilities, where all grocery products are stored and assembled. This enables us to respond to the specific wishes of clients very quickly. The whole process is carried out in-house by our expert personnel. All deliveries are delivered after maintaining proper hygiene protocol. The products can also be delivered in special packaging if required.
Story of Bazar Nao Journey: During on-going pandemic situation we have realized the unparalleled importance of basic needs such as groceries, fruits, vegetables, medicines, etc. that are consumed by people under all circumstances. It was the most realistic event that has taught how to survive in such stressful and appalling situations. Considering the importance of such needs by the general public, we launched the first-ever e-commerce grocery store known as “Bazar Nao”, which even provides credit facility to people for buying good-quality groceries.
2. How is Bazar Nao different than the existing online grocery stores?
Bazar Nao is an e-commerce platform that stands with a total new USP in the market of Bangladesh e-commerce. It is the first online e-commerce platform that provides people grocery on credit. There are other online grocery stores in Bangladesh who demand advance payment, cash on delivery along with extra service charges. But Bazar Nao not only provides groceries on credit but also don’t charge any additional interest on the due amount. On the plus side a consumer can avail products free of delivery charge from Bazar Nao over the purchase of 200tk worth of product.
3. What kind of responses are you receiving from the customers and what are the eye-catching deals or offers that you are providing to establish a better relationship between Bazar Nao and its customers?
Responses: We have received an overwhelming response from the customers. Though only a few have criticized the concept, over 95% of the customers have applauded the idea and wished Bazar Nao the very best.
Deals: Along with credit facility there’s free delivery charge, discounts on over 100 top necessary products and super package deals avail in Bazar Nao. There’s array of 5000+ products present at Bazar Nao website for customers delight.
4. How do you manage to receive the overdue money from the customers?
The users of Bazar Nao will be able to avail of a credit line for up to 20 days and they can use that credit line to purchase their desired commodities. We collect the payment with help of various MFS like Bkash, Nagad as well as our agents collect the money from customer’s doorstep after completion of due date. If there are any defaulters we give a grace time of 3 days. Consumer failing the grace time will face legal consequence.
5. What products are available in your online grocery store and do you wish to introduce more range of products to stay in competition within the market?
All kinds of grocery products are available in Bazar Nao. Every day our team work relentlessly to introduce new product lines and ranges to be upfront to the competition.
6. Do you have any plan to expand your business in the future?
Going forward, Bazar Nao aims to be the best e-grocery platform Bangladesh has to offer. At the moment, the operations are limited within Dhaka city to ensure that the store can provide the most optimal service to our customers. Moreover, we plan to expand to the divisional cities and then grow nation-wide in a short time.
7. What are the major challenges that you are facing while dealing with customers? Is being an online shop limiting the profit margin in any way?
From the very beginning Bazar Nao didn’t aimed to be commercial business but it aimed to be a business where the position of the consumer and company is win-win. The major challenge we are facing right now is to win trust as an inseparable grocery partner for the family as consumer has this perception that there are presence different online frauds in the market. They are somewhat right but Bazar Nao wishes to bring back positive attitude towards online grocery shopping in no time through integrity and sincerity.
8. What benefits and losses are you facing because of the price chart being different than the local market?
We try to give the best deal in the market while keeping a reedy profit margin. It will be a lie if we tell that we don’t face losses but customer’s satisfaction is the first priority for Bazar Nao. We want to offer the best grocery deals to customers to win their hearts.
