Recently, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to offer chartered flight services for domestic routes. This is because of frequent flight cancellations and low passenger counts during the ongoing pandemic. Each flight will cost about Tk 3 lakh-5 lakh depending on the route distance.

This is the first time in Biman’s history to make such offers. And, this urges people to look into the best charter operations around the globe.

♦  NetJets – Was initially launched as Executive Jet Aviation by Berkshire Hathaway in 1964. It was the first business jets company in the world and is still one of the leading private jets companies. NetJets operates at least 750 aircrafts which fly to as much as 5,000 worldwide destinations per year. They sell part-ownership of the jets and each flight costs $1,950 per hour regardless of the jet size.

♦  Delta Private Jets – Was initially launched as Comair Jet Express by Delta Airlines in 1984. It is said to be the only private jet company affiliated with a major commercial airline. They provide jet cards as well as on-demand charters to more than 3,000 airports on Earth. The first year costs $8,500, and then each consecutive year costs $6,000. However frequent travellers using their jet card pay more for even better facilities and offers.

♦  Flexjet – Was initially launched as Business Jet Solutions in 1995 as a part of Bombardier Aerospace, one of the world’s largest business aviation manufacturers, which itself is a part of Bombardier Inc. It offers the most personalised service and lets you choose between fractional ownership, lease, and jet card, with each providing you different services. Flight costs depend on your customised contract with them.

♦  VistaJet – Was initially launched as Air Executive in 2004. They have around 70 jets travelling to at least 1,900 airports in the world. Each flight is tailored to your exact needs, and when you become a frequent user, you might even start to know people personally over the course of your journey with them. Each flight costs $12,000-$16,000, depending on your membership. They may not lower the price but will always make the flights worth it.

♦  Wheels Up – Was founded in 2013. It has an app that lets users request jets 24-hours before departure. They have about 90 aircrafts divided into exclusive fleets and program fleets. They provide various membership opportunities as well as extra benefits. Because of this the price of their flights vary amongst users. Recently they have acquired Gama Aviation Signature, which is the largest Part 135 charter operators in the U.S.
