The Bollywood veteran actor passed away on 30th April 2020 at the age of 67 after battling against leukemia for 2 years. According to his older brother, actor Randhir Kapoor, Rishi was hospitalised the day before as he wasn’t feeling well, and died with his wife, actor Nitu Kapoor, by his side in Mumbai, India.
Irrfan Khan had announced in 2018 that he had neuroendocrine tumour. And, 2 years later, the actor was kept under observation for colon infection at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai, on 28 th April 2020, and passed away the following day. His mother had died 3 days before he did, and Irrfan couldn’t attend the funeral in Jaipur due to the ongoing pandemic.
